According to statistics of the Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, from January to October, 2021, China’s all-sector overseas direct investment was RMB752.39 billion, down 0.9% (USD116.34 billion, up 6.8%) year-on-year. Specifically, China’s non-financial direct investment in 5,406 overseas businesses from 164 countries and regions amounted to RMB568.98 billion, down 5.5% (USD87.98 billion, up 1.9%) year-on-year.
