From January to May, 2022, the number of various kinds of workers dispatched abroad amounted to 97,000, a decrease of 37,000 year-on-year. The number of workers dispatched for contracted projects was 33,000, and that for labor cooperation was 64,000. At the end of May, 568,000 Chinese workers were working overseas.
